Run Coaching

Our coaches bring the same expertise and attention to the details for the running athlete as we do the triathlete. All PBM Coaches are well versed in the newest technology and velocity based metrics and modeling. We understand the physiological demands of the various distance and we make sure you are ready to PB at that next target event!

Run coaching includes:

  • Field testing to determine various zones and paces (Vdot, FTPace, etc)
  • Analysis of previous performances
  • Specific training advice to improve weaknesses
  • Determination of training schema (Periodization or non)
  • Monthly workout schedules, adjusted on a daily basis as needed
  • Athlete/Coach communication by e-mail on a daily basis as needed
  • Athlete/Coach communication by phone daily as needed
  • Event specific race planning including nutrition, pacing, strategy, etc.
  • Weekly analysis of training logs and pace files
  • Dietary analysis and recommendations
  • Local athletes are eligible for 1:1 sessions with their coach 2 x per quarter
